Payment Security
Supporters complete payment on hosted checkout pages operated by Stripe, our licensed, PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment partner. TalkSocal does not store card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive authentication data at any point in the transaction flow.

Supporters complete payment on hosted checkout pages operated by our licensed, PCI DSS-compliant payment partners. TalkSocal does not store card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive authentication data at any point in the transaction flow.
2. Supported payment methods
Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA (Europe), and UK local payment methods — depending on region and device. Accepted methods are displayed at checkout.
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
Checkout pages support Strong Customer Authentication as required under PSD2 and the UK Payment Services Regulations. This may include 3D Secure (3DS2) authentication for eligible card transactions. SCA is managed entirely by our payment partners — no additional action is required from Supporters at the platform level.
3. How payments flow
When a Supporter completes a purchase:
- The full payment is collected by TalkSocal via our regulated payment partner
- TalkSocal deducts the Platform Service Fee (15%) from the gross Transaction amount
- Card processing fees charged by the payment partner are also deducted
- The remaining net Payout is disbursed to the Member through their connected payout account

4. Payout schedule
Eligible balances are disbursed to Members through connected payout accounts after order completion and payment partner verification. Payouts are typically processed within 2–7 business days of a confirmed Transaction. First withdrawals may take additional processing time. Members must complete identity verification (KYC) before Payouts can be processed — see Member verification.
5. Security standards
- All data transmitted between your browser and TalkSocal is encrypted using TLS/SSL
- Payments are processed in compliance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
- TalkSocal operates within a SAQ A PCI DSS scope — all cardholder data entry and processing is delegated entirely to our licensed payment partners; TalkSocal systems do not enter the cardholder data environment (CDE)
- Additional fraud prevention measures include real-time risk scoring, address verification (AVS), CVV verification, and device analytics
- TalkSocal reserves the right to delay, decline, or cancel any Transaction suspected to be fraudulent or in violation of platform policies
6. AML and KYC compliance
MILIAO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (trading as TalkSocal) complies with UK Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, including the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.
Identity verification (KYC) is carried out in accordance with these regulations. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. TalkSocal does not store card data.
We may require identity and source of funds verification before processing certain transactions or releasing payouts. Any suspicious financial activity will be reported to the relevant authorities as required by law.
